Making Art, Not Excuses...

Julie PoisonIV mocks the beauty she finds in deconstruction while producing new life to the discarded. Her style has been described as rebellious, erratic, and raw. She employs a wide variety of materials: wood, metal, bones, glitter, paint and transparency prints.

Her art has been showcased in various group shows in southern California and hosted her first solo show at California State University, Fullerton in 2012. As proud member of the female artist collective Splendor Device and artist community White Matter; she strives to break the norm and draw attention to the growing female art scene.

She earned her BA with concentration in Art Education from California State University, Fullerton.
